I am doing a wedding for one of my
newest, favorite friends in February...
{stay tuned, it is going to be gorgeous!}
but every bride knows that after the ring --
the next party is the BRIDAL SHOWER!
I hosted it at my house...
I decided that if I was going to try to
find a place that was reasonable,
quiet and fit our decor scheme,
as well as make the food...
it may as well be where I'm comfortable!
The menu was soooo good!
The Salads: Antipasti Salad, a wintery delight with dried cranberries, pear, apple, greens, onions, swiss cheese, cashews = delish!, and a Mandarin Salad w/mandarin oranges, greens, green onions and sliced almonds in a balsamic & herb viniagrette.
We made lots of homebaked mini corn muffins with gourmet apricot and raspberry rhubarb jam, and...
these delightful, crisp cucumber rounds w/a pineapple/apple topping, as well as:
gouda/ham pastry puffs {couldn't keep 'em coming fast enough!} and mini taragon biscuits with turkey, apple and havarti cheese...
these girls were treated like ROYALTY!!!
The desserts weren't second string -- they drew in the crowds!!!
darling little lemon bites...mmmm! {my fave! love the lemon zest!} 
mini chocolate fudge cupcakes topped w/fresh berries....
