food area...

the food was a street taco bar

{best I've ever had might I add! --yum!}

 salsa area in the middle...

lots 'n lots of delicious salsa choices!

 each side offered guests homemade tortillas; 

grilled chicken & steak; ice cold lettuce & cabbage; 

cheese; cucumbers... I'm hungry for them all over again!

vintage arch - nicely weathered -

covered in big, fluffy tissue pom poms!

{the old pattern ones were the biggest hit!}

 additional lighting...

a little different than our typical chandeliers...

but stunning just the same!

 love using unexpected serving pieces...

the urn makes me happy!

lots of vintage silver -- adds to the theme, right?!

water w/lemon & guava, strawberry punch

{a great combination w/the street tacos and a HOT day!}

 love dressing the jars in some accessories

everything has to be ready for the party...

5 different, beautiful cakes

[ugh! so sad I didn't get a pic of them! the flags describing them were so cute!]

love the old suitcase that serves as the B&G's cake stand

 old books, flowers, beautiful pix of the B&G, clocks...

this reception was heavenly!
