Kelli & Andrew's wedding was at the Boyce Thompson Arboritum just west of Superior. OMGosh! It's a lovely place to hold a wedding! The energy in this park is almost tangible. It is serene, gorgeous, peaceful, quiet - AMAZING! They both love the outdoors, so this was a perfect place for them!
We set up the reception area near the entrance using the SMITH building as a food area, w/guests seated under the stars for dinner & dancing! Her colors were greens & creams - you can see how well they worked with Mother Nature's backdrop!
We set up two head tables for the wedding party... one on each side of the entrance... her food was catered by Waldo's BBQ {yum!}... a fave of the groom's!
It was a small party of 80... the guest tables melded in with the rustic backdrop of the garden and rocks...
I love the contrast!
The centerpieces were a rustic blend of wood stumps {thank you terrible storm of '10! hee hee hee!},
a peony flower bud and a beautiful candleabra...

When guests arrived, they were given a map that led them on a short walk to the chinese pistachio garden where a viola player serenaded them until the ceremony began...the mix of nature and fine music was undescribable.
