serving pieces {INSPIRE} me, too...you can serve lots of things in unconventional items...not only making a statement - but I think when the food is served cute, it makes it tastes better {hee hee hee!}
architectural elements...sometimes the yummy grain in some weathered wood or old tin, a corbal or a really sexy wrought iron piece is enough for me to build a party around...just because it's old doesn't mean it's used up and done...it only means it's perfected!
and I love to put two elements together that
ordinarily don't go together...
