OOOlala! -Joanie & Tony Judd 2/5/11 part 3

the menu?
french, of course!
because the happy couple got married at The Wright house and it wasn't just a reception, we had some tricky scheduling. After the ceremony the guests needed somewhere to land while the bridal party took pix. We quickly put away 175 chairs, opened the food area up for some of the most delicious french onion soup complete w/homemade garlic croutons dripping with cheese, and a variety of cheese and breads... we also gave the guests an opportunity to visit the candy station that served as the guest favors... and the photo area for fun guest pictures!

another super cute sign ;)

The food station was set up entirely ready for the full menu, but we served the soup, cheeses and breads from the middle first...We moved that out after the bridal party photo shoot, and brought in the crepe bar!
We didn't miss a beat with the menu..
it was yummy!
The main dinner included:
caesar salad,
(I know not french...but goes so well with everything!)
a bowtie pasta salad w/pine nuts,
grapes, herbs and onions,
(delish!)
breads, quiche, frittata, crepe bar & fresh fruit...
The drink station was set up on both sides of the food area...
the food area was set up so that we, of course, had
our "I Do" traditional two lines (so no one waits too long!).
There were plenty of pictures
of the happy couple...
I loved the skirt on these tables.
I've used them before and I never get tired of them!
They're whimsical, but dressy at the same time.
For sure they're french!
The pink ribbon floral ribbon added just enough pink...
and it all complimented the new awning!
