Marshall & Kayla's reception was in the old church building on
1st Ave & Center.
I know what everyone is thinking: ugh! cultural hall.
But, seriously (and unfortunately, the pictures aren't fabulous), it just might be one of the best cultural halls in the valley! Why?
Because of the courtyard!
We curtained off half the gym with billowy curtains...
curtained off the ugly walls with the doors to classrooms in the courtyard...
hung romantic lights up in both areas - and made it indoor/outdoor!
It felt like a high-priced venue!!
(k, I know a venue w/gym floors - but I'm not lying when I say it wasn't your typical cultural hall reception!
Their colors were gold and cream...with touches of burgandy.
I didn't put 2+2 together until I got there for the actual party...
the groomsmen were all wearing SunDevil vests & ties under the tuxes...
Marshall is a hardcore Devil!
In fact, the whole Gross family is...
so I thought it was sweet to mix an elegant party w/something that meant alot to them!
in the center of the space...
A good look at the inside...and the wonderful lights that I think are priceless!
